Hello to all, I a 39 yr old African American female from Florida but currently reside in Atlanta Georgia. I am a military veteran and have exceeded my GI Bill education fund. I am looking for free grants and scholarships to fund my Criminal Justice major. I currently attend Westwood College as a full time student thanks to all the loans I took out just to attend. I decided to go back to school to become a youth counselor and and mentor to the mentally challenged. Even though I came from a disturbed background (raised in the foster care system), I was fortunate to survive all the turmoil that came with life trials and tribulations. Due to the recession, I am currently unemployed, and on the constant determination to find work. Life is very challenging as I try to get from one day to another. All I asked is to be a recipient of grant money to further my education hoping to receive my BS degree in 2 years. It was harsh being homeless and living in my car, until I moved in with a relative which has given me shelter and food until I can find a job and live on my own again. Thank You in advance.
